If you’ve lived in or visited the North End of Hartford, Keney Park is likely one of its most memorable landmarks.

This historic and cherished public space has been central to many lifetimes and holds significant cultural value as part of Frederick Law Olmsted’s legacy in Hartford.
Drawing from the stories of long-time visitors, park administrators, and experts, this course gathered the voices of community members who love Keney Park and reflected on its more than a century in Hartford.

In this course, we will journey through time, from Keney Park’s earlier days to its present day.
